About Doumyouji and Makino

Doumyouji is, as it seems, a typical rich kid; spoiled, violent, and he has no qualms about using money to get his way (being filthy, filthy, filthy rich, of course). He is demanding, opressive, and suspicious.

Makino, on the other hand, is at the other end of the spectrum. Poor (too poor?), defensive, and having lots of "weed-power", she isn't one to just sit back and be pliant under opression.

Makino is the most different girl Doumyouji has ever met. She doesn't care about his money, his power, or his fame. She's the real thing... and he falls in love with her. And Makino slowly realizes that Doumyouji isn't just the spoiled brat he seems to be-- but a caring, determined, courageous man, wholly in love with her.

But situations keep haunting them, making their possible relationship something that seems to be impossible: Hanazawa Rui and Makino's old feelings for him; Doumyouji Kaede, Doumyouji's controlling mother; Ookawahara Shigeru, Doumyouji's arranged fiance; and on and on and on and...
